Saturday, October 22 at the auditorium of the Allianz MiCo – Milan Convention Center took place the closing ceremony of the sixth edition of the Costruire il Futuro Award, the initiative conceived and promoted by the Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro and also supported by Safety21 for three years.
“Il Futuro si disegna insieme”, is the motto of this edition of the Build the Future Award for Milan and the Metropolitan City aimed at those who through sport are involved in educating, accompanying, raising young people and children, integrating disabled people or people in a state of fragility, and to all those who rely on sport to address social issues of our city in particular in the suburbs.
The Costruire il Futuro Award arrived in Milan and its province six years ago to concretely support the commitment and projects of the Milanese sports associations, which dedicate their work to children and young people, generating positive environments capable of educating through sport, passion and loyalty
For this reason, Safety21 has decided to support for the third consecutive year the Costruire il Futuro Award, offering a contribution to amateur sports realities linked to the territory and active in promoting hospitality, inclusion and awareness of important issues such as bullying.
The Prize consists of a cash contribution: in the last five editions, the Foundation has supported more than 160 sports associations, donating about 330,000 euros to the most deserving projects. This year 240 associations registered for the call: of these, 55 were carefully selected by the Honorary Committee, chaired by Professor Lorenzo Ornaghi and composed of the project partners and personalities from the cultural world and the third sector, as well as some representatives of the Costruire il Futuro Foundation, and were awarded through contributions ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 euros.
