The meetings of “Mi Voglio SicurƏ” continue, a training project that aims to raise awareness of the responsible driving of the Milan Metropolitan Safety Project.

The primary objective of this initiative is to spread a culture of road safety among the new generations, educating future motorists on the importance of respecting road rules and promoting a strong civic sense in terms of road safety.

The project was made possible thanks to the collaboration between Safety21 and the Metropolitan City of Milan, involving expert trainers from the Lorenzo Guarnieri Onlus Association, which has been active for over 10 years in the prevention of road violence, together with psychologists and psychotherapists specialized in the sector.

In the classroom on Wednesday 20 March, on the third morning of the course, the students of the fourth and fifth year of the ITCS Primo Levi and Erasmo da Rotterdam of Bollate were present, while in the fourth meeting held on Thursday 21 March, the students of the Carlo Emilio Gadda High School of Paderno Dugnano were involved.

In these first four mornings – the first two meetings were held on 24 and 25 January – almost 1,000 students from high schools managed by the Metropolitan City of Milan took part in “Mi Voglio SicurƏ”: the course, which through interactive quizzes, reflections and testimonials, allowed participants to create awareness and shared responsibility by highlighting the importance and value of respecting the rules of the highway code the dangers of distractions, alcohol and drugs on the road.

As in the previous edition, these two meetings were attended by Stefano Guarnieri, Vice President of the Lorenzo Guarnieri Association, Pieralessandro Scotti, Head of the Local Police of the Metropolitan City, Maria Gabriella Anania, Psychologist and Psychotherapist and expert in Traffic Psychology, and institutional representatives of the Metropolitan City of Milan and the institutions involved.
